At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County, we understand that every child is different, and we believe in tailoring our approach to meet the individual needs of each participant. Our dedicated team of educators and support staff are trained to work with children with a wide range of special needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, Down syndrome, sensory processing disorders, and learning disabilities.

Individualized Support


We provide personalized support and accommodations to help children with special needs succeed in their academic pursuits and social interactions. Our team works closely with parents and caregivers to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans tailored to each child's unique strengths and challenges.
