Year-End Campaign

This year, community members like you helped give nearly 15,000 kids in Kern County the safe spaces, mentorship, and opportunities they need to grow into adults who are resilient, prepared and full of promise.

 

But too many young people still face each day without the essentials they deserve!

 

Of the approximate 180,000 school-aged youth in Kern County, 

• at least 10% do not complete high school; 

• over 60% do not complete any college preparatory courses; 

• and more than 50% of them live in households that fall below self-sufficiency standards.*

 

This holiday season, you can make a difference. If we give today's young people what they need, they will become the leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers of tomorrow.

 

Every dollar the community donates will help open the door to lifelong success for a young person in this community.
